Staph Infections/ MRSA
Staphylococcus is a group of bacteria, familiarly known as Staph that can cause a multitude of diseases as a result of infection of various tissues of the body. Staph bacteria can cause illness not only directly by infection (such as in the skin), but also indirectly by producing toxins.
BPT has a number of actions that may positively affect the reduction of infections. Those being:
- Attacking infections that are within the blood
- Increased oxygenation of the tissues therefore reducing pain
- Improving the function of the blood, rheological improvements, i.e. blood flow, carrying capacity and increased red blood cell production
- Increases the activation of circulating IgM and IgG which are non specific immune factors
- Increases surface antibodies on red blood cell membrane
- Breaks down toxins released by the bacteria
