Heart Disease
BPT has a number of actions that have been shown to significantly reduce the damage done to heart tissue after a heart attack. Those being:
- Promotes healing through oxygenation of tissues with drastic reduction in sustained heart damage
- Increased oxygenation of the tissues therefore reducing angina/pain
- A significant decrease in blood viscosity (thickness), platelet aggregation and fibrinogen thus preventing further clots in the heart
- Vasodilation of coronary arteries and a reduction in general peripheral resistance
- Relaxation of the nervous system giving a calming effect
